Cixous, A Tarantella of a theory
I copied this quote down a few years ago and knew its relevance to me as
a creative being and experienced its truth through making sound.
This quote makes me laugh having found out the meaning of the word tarantella.
It is a dance, but it is also the death throes of a tarantula spider.
, there seems to have been a hint that this is accessed through writing, writing yourself, writing your body, your dreams your mind. or in my case less like writing and more like scribbling.
Twists and turns grimacing against the unfairness and my anger at life I stamp my foot.
It is all a passionate dance that at times is highly comical although not to me.
